Thought y’all knew how to get on s1,
nothing is needed
I even made a very brief video

on YouTube to help people like Boz
Who are more computer illiterate than myself
And he got on within minutes

I did not know how only because I do not go on Discord as mentioned, nor do I go on youtube looking for SOCOM stuff. I will now though. I'll sub to ya.
I look up a lot of BBQ vids because I am thinking of making my own, as well as starting a popup business, so I'm looking for how to's, etc.. Still in the early discovery stage, but I am thinking about it. I have people all over my subdivision and my family members begging me for BBQ, and it is something that I love to do more than just a passing fancy, so I am giving it some serious thought.

Might be looking to do pop ups and comps once things mellow out a tad and I get some ducks in a row on my end. I love to cook, I love to cook for others, I love BBQ, and I am tired of sitting behind a computer all the time. That one of the main reasons I go on a digital hiatus on weekends.
I'm pretty dogshit at cooking and that's basically what I do when I wanna try something new.

Gotta mess things up to learn, right?

I like trying other BBQ recipes different from my own. I make my own rubs and sauces, but a different POV is always good. I'm looking now more for how some of these really top guys or people I am cool with do their channels, as well as pop up ideas, pitfalls, pros and cons, etc. Might be going into comps and pop ups as a way to finance my comps.
I'm already on IG where I share my food and use it strictly for networking with other BBQ people. Taking baby steps to build a social media and online footprint, and then we shall see what happens.

My YouTube channel will be strictly BBQ related and start as another way to network. Definitely no delusions of grandeur there. That is if I decide to do one. Pop Ups and comps are definitely happening probably starting next year. YT...we'll see.

Absolutely dead right now. I needed this laughter. Been a day of days indeed.
I appreciate you acknowledging I have a BBC even though you've never seen it in action. Or do I need to set up some motion lights outside my home?

Glad it gave you a laugh. As you know I also enjoy the culinary arts and have a pipe dream of making my own line of hot sauces, marinades etc...Cooking is therapeutic or something for me.

Let me ask you something, do you find when you are cooking for a group of people that you end up barely even sitting down to eat with them b3cause you are so focused on their experience?

Yep! All the time. I eat and hover...always asking if they need anything else, letting them know about the process, what I put on the meat, in my sauces, etc.

If I'm cooking something like pasta dishes, burgers, steaks, fish, etc., for example, I will eat with them. But BBQ, because it has really become my passion, I want to make sure they are enjoying it so that is my main focus. Bad BBQ is still good BBQ, but great BBQ is an art form.

Ok so its not just me. My friends always say "dude are you gonna sit down and eat?" And im too focused on having the courses and sauces done right and keeping the foods at equal temps I end up hovering and not ever sitting down for the meal. Also as the cook you are tasting as you go so I think that suppresses the hunger. My enjoyment is based on their reaction.

Speaking of BBQ, we have an Amish food market right down the street from us. I had their baby back ribs. THE BEST Ive ever had. Not even close. They also have a pork loin stuffed with sausage and wrapped in bacon..........Unreal
